services provided
I provide individual, couples and family therapy to clients across the lifespan.
Finding value in a variety of therapeutic approaches, I often blend interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral (including third wave acceptance-based approaches, such as ACT), and spiritually integrated approaches to address the treatment goals of clients. I also have experience in providing brief psychodynamic therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Exposure and Response Prevention therapy for OCD, and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. I enjoy working from a variety of treatment modalities, including individual child and adult, family, and group, and specialize in couples therapy. My approach to psychotherapy involves a collaborative partnership and dialogue to explore together emotional, cognitive, and behavioral difficulties and ways to flexibly understand and work through these life challenges.
My areas of clinical experience and interest include the following:
- Relationship/relational difficulties and couples therapy
- Parent/child and family relationship communication difficulties
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Binge Eating Disorder and body image concerns

- Grief and loss
- Religious and spiritual concerns
- Adjustment disorders and life transitions (particularly adjustment to college and post-college experiences and adjustment to parenthood)
- Behavioral problems in children/adolescents
- Women's issues
- Attachment difficulties in children/adolescents
- Social skill difficulties in children/adolescents
- Low self esteem
